
Masters In France came together in 2009, in Caernarfon, Bangor, North Wales. They quickly garnered a lot of media coverage releasing material in both English and their native tongue. Their debut single ‘Yn y Ddinas’ selling 500 copies in its first week.
2010 saw Masters in France play Wakestock, SWN Festival and BBC’s Big Weekend Fringe. Over half way through 2011 and Bangor’s Masters In France have already had quite a year. Kicking of with a single release on Beggars Banquet’s Too Pure label, the band subsequently gained a spot on the Radio 1 playlist, recorded two sessions for the station, and played at 2011’s Radio 1 One Big Weekend. Now set to release their debut EP ‘Inhale’, the band are once again off on tour around the UK, culminating in an appearance at the Huw Stephens curated Swn festival.
