Leigh Mary Stokes, 19 year old singer songwriter from Portsmouth has had a busy 2010 so far.

With festival appearances at Redfest, Big Bash 100 and Southsea Fest coming up later in the year, Leigh and her band are seeing out the first half of the year playing at Liverpool Sound City.

Fresh from a UK tour to promote her recent single ‘Little Yellow’ that ended with her headlining the Bookslam stage at Camden Crawl, Leigh has been firmly cementing herself as one of Britain’s foremost upcoming artists.

Having travelled the length of the country playing to sold out shows in some of the best known venues in the UK, Leigh has featured alongside other fantastic UK acts such as Eliza Doolittle The Kabeedies, The Crookes, The Northwestern, Chris Helme, and Sam Isaac.

BBC play listed and a featured BBC 6 Live sessions artist, Leigh and her band are playing out the rest of the year at key festivals and venues, before heading back to the studio to put the finishing touches to her most recent material.
